Membership

Open Health Tools includes national health agencies from several countries, medical standards organizations, software product and service companies.

The Member Lists, see links below this paragraph, provide information and links for all OHT members as well as information on many of the members' participation in Open Health Tools.

All people and organizations with an interest in, and ability to contribute to the Open Health Tools vision, are welcome to apply to join Open Health Tools. To ensure rapid growth of the Open Health Tools ecosystem, and to guarantee representation from a wide variety of players in the healthcare industry, there are no membership fees required.  However, all those joining are asked to make a statement of what they feel they can contribute to Open Health Tools.  Some examples of contributions might be:

  1. The assignment of one or more developers to work on a project;
  2. The use of Open Health Tools for a product (and the contribution of any improvements to the Open Health Tools software back to the community);
  3. Software that is complementary to Open Health Tools’ projects;
  4. Assistance with public relations, event organization and so on;
  5. Public statements of support.
