Ocean Informatics Pty Ltd is an Australian company which has been leading the development of tools and services to support the openEHR Framework. Our vision is for a health care environment where the health record is available to authorised users in a universal non-proprietary format under the control of the patient; a single logical record which does not rely on centralisation or transformation messaging for interoperability. The openEHR Framework has no language primacy and supports clinical modelling independent of the infrastructure software implementation. Ocean is supplying tooling to national health initiatives and software vendors in a number of countries and has subsidiaries in the UK and Chile.
