HSSP

The Healthcare Services Specification Project (HSSP) is a standards development effort to create health industry service oriented architecture (SOA) standards supportive of the health care market sector. Formally beginning as a collaboration between Health Level Seven and the Object Management Group, HSSP is taking on a coordination role to promote effective collaboration across standards bodies. With a stated objective to create useful, usable healthcare standards, HSSP strives to complement existing work by focusing on practical needs, capitalizing on open industry participation, and maximizing contributions from industry talent.
